Last week, we announced our 2011-2013 Program Investments. We are proud to be investing $4 million in 78 local health and human service programs that help improve our community’s quality of life through their focus on Education, Income, and Health and Wellness. Ultimately, though, these programs all share one thing in common: they change lives, one at a time.
We made our announcement at the Child Advocacy Center (CAC), a program of Child & Adolescent Treatment Services (CATS). Bonnie Glazer, CATS Executive Director, shared a story of one child whose life was changed because of her contact with the CAC. It is a powerful story – and a powerful reminder of why we do the work that we do.
